YOU ARE NOT ALONE ELDERLY WEEK EVENT IS BEING ORGANIZED

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University has news of an event that prioritizes art lovers and social sensitivity! Organized by the Department of Graphic Design, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture; The exhibition titled You Are Not Alone Elderly Week Event is preparing to meet art lovers. The exhibition is curated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersan Sarıkahya and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersan Sarıkahya and Prof. Dr. Emel Uzuner, while the project was organized by the University without Barriers Coordinator Assist. Assist. Ayşegül Demir Sarıipek also made important contributions. In the field of music, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Kerem Özdemir, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Erkan Solmaz, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Semih Sarıipek and Halit Bahadır Akgöz will bring an artistic dimension to the event. In addition, Serkan Kalaycılar and Dilek Karaaslan, instructors of Bandırma Rhythm Workshop and Women's Republican Band Ensemble, will also participate in the event with their team. İlayda Akman and Ahmet Emin Kaya are among the names who contributed greatly to the preparation of the exhibition. In this project, which is realized with the awareness of social responsibility, graphic design art is used as a therapy tool and aims to raise awareness for elderly individuals. Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Graphic Design, with the support of Bandırma Municipality, is organizing this meaningful event to make our elderly feel that they are not alone. In the event to be held within the scope of the Elderly Week, students will use their skills in graphic design to raise awareness.
