Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture Bid Farewell to Its First Graduates with Enthusiasm

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture broke new ground in the 2024-2025 Academic Year and graduated its first graduates. At the same time, the fact that our faculty students achieved the second and third places in the university was another source of pride that crowned this special graduation.

At the ceremony held at BANÜ Sports Valley Indoor Sports Hall, our faculty students experienced the joy of receiving their diplomas after years of intensive and creative education. The graduation enthusiasm was attended by Bandırma District Governor Mr. Engin Aksakal, Garrison Commander Air Pilot Brigadier General Mr. Esat Çetin, Bandırma Mayor Mr. Dursun Mirza, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, our Vice Rectors, our Dean Prof. Dr. Eylem Güzel, our Secretary General, academic and administrative staff and the valuable families of our graduates.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, and our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz congratulated all the graduates in his speech and gave a meaningful message to the young graduates by saying, “No matter what you do, don’t give up on being a good person.”

The students who graduated from the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture with honors went down in history as the first graduates of our faculty by nailing a plaque to the graduation log. Then, certificates of achievement were presented and graduation certificates were presented to all our graduates.

The most exciting moment of the day was the cap-tossing ceremony held together. Our students threw their caps, which were the symbol of their efforts, into the air with enthusiasm, accompanied by the proud looks of their friends and families.

After the ceremony, our students immortalized this meaningful day by taking souvenir photos with their academicians, friends and loved ones in the aesthetic corners of our faculty and campus.
