SAY NO TO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SUSTAINABLE POSTER EXHIBITION

 The “No to Violence Against Women International Online Poster Exhibition” organized by Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Graphic Design was curated by our department academics, Dr. Lecturer Emel Uzuner and Dr. Lecturer Ersan Sarıkahya.

The exhibition, prepared with the participation of graphic designers and academics, aims to raise international awareness about violence against women. We would like to thank our assistants, Ceren Kafalı and Halit Bahadır Akgöz, for their dedicated contributions throughout the exhibition's preparation process.

The "International Day for the Elimination and Solidarity Against Violence Against Women," declared by the United Nations on November 25, 1999, highlights the seriousness of violence against women on a global scale. This problem, which affects all societies with its social, social, and psychological dimensions, is not limited to a particular country, religion, race, or level of development; it is a universal reality. This exhibition, organized by our university, aims to raise public awareness of this problem and contribute to a sustainable transformation of consciousness.

Women's labor, determination, and multifaceted contributions to social development play a decisive role in shaping both our history and our present. We consider it a fundamental responsibility to support women in all areas so they can live happy, safe, just, and loving lives. In this context, the exhibition is not only an artistic event but also an awareness platform that strengthens perspectives on social sustainability, equality, and human rights.

The exhibition features posters created by 90 distinguished academics and artists from 20 different countries. We thank all our contributing graphic designers and artists and wish them continued success.
