INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION FOR 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR ATATURK'S PRINCIPLES AND REVOLUTION HISTORY I-II COURSE EXEMPTION EXAM APPLICATION

2026-2027 Academic Year Compulsory Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution I-II Course Exemption Exam will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 14.00.

 Note: This form will be open for applications between 7-15 September 2026. Applications will be closed as of 17:00 on the application deadline. Applications submitted after the relevant date and time will not be accepted.

Note: Information such as Name, Surname, Student Number, Department/Program and Vocational School/Faculty in the application form must be filled in completely and accurately. Applications submitted with incomplete or incorrect information will be deemed invalid.

Exam Scope and Evaluation Criteria

It is not compulsory to take the exam and only students who are accepted to the university in 2026-2027 can participate in the relevant exam, provided that they fill out the information in the application form on time and completely.

The exam is evaluated out of 100 points.

Students who score 60 or above are exempt from Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution I-II courses, the scores they receive replace the grades of these courses and are included in the graduation grade point average. Students who score below 60 cannot be exempt and are obliged to take these courses.

Exemption procedures are carried out by Student Affairs. Students should contact the Student Affairs Office regarding their exam results and exemption status.

The scope of the exam includes all subjects in the fall and spring semesters, such as the last period and collapse of the Ottoman Empire, World War I and its consequences, the Armistice of Mudros and occupations, the preparation process of the War of Independence and the congresses and the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the War of Independence and the fronts, the Treaty of Lausanne and post-Republic developments.
