A person who moves from their place of birth to another country, city, town, etc. for various reasons is known as a migrant. The most common reasons for migration are social, political, economic, war, natural disasters, refugees and asylum seekers who are displaced due to persecution are considered forced migrants. People migrate to a new region or country in search of better living conditions, employment opportunities, educational opportunities or security. Art students have constructed their own works representing the challenges faced by immigrants, cultural diversity, education, economy, language, adaptation and change. Globally, immigrants serve as ambassadors of cultures. This project raises awareness in society by telling their stories through a visual lens. This problem continues globally and transcends national borders. The exhibition organized by Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was held with the aim of raising awareness in society.
The poster works prepared by Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Graphic Design and Istanbul Arel University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design, Cartoons and Animation are on display. We congratulate all our students who participated in the exhibition with their works and wish them continued success.
